I’m Brad Milton, a Canadian Armed Forces veteran, firefighter, and emergency management professional. Throughout my career, I’ve spent decades serving communities, leading teams, and working in environments where reliability, integrity, and attention to detail aren’t optional, they’re expected.
Those same values are what inspired Ironwood & Ash.
What started as a search for premium beard products that actually performed became a passion for creating them myself. Every beard oil, balm, butter, and wash is carefully crafted using quality ingredients to deliver products that work, smell incredible, and become part of your daily routine.
Ironwood & Ash isn’t about chasing trends. It’s about craftsmanship, consistency, and creating products for hardworking men, whether you’re in the office, on the job site, serving your community, or enjoying a well-earned day off.

Grayson Milton
The Next Generation
At just 11 years old, Grayson Milton is already learning what it means to be part of something built with pride and purpose.
An avid hockey player with a passion for teamwork, dedication, and always improving, Grayson brings that same enthusiasm and curiosity into Ironwood & Ash. When he’s not on the ice, you can often find him learning new skills, helping in the workshop, and exploring his interest in building and creating.
Grayson has a natural curiosity for how things are made and a growing passion for craftsmanship. He enjoys being involved in the process, from helping at markets and connecting with customers to learning about the different ingredients and scent profiles that make each Ironwood & Ash product unique.
His attention to detail and willingness to lend a hand have made him an important part of our family business. Whether he’s helping choose scent combinations, setting up the booth, or sharing his ideas, Grayson represents the next generation of creativity, hard work, and craftsmanship that Ironwood & Ash was built on.

Carter Milton
The Next GenerationCarter Milton — Creative Builder & Quality Control Specialist
At just 9 years old, Carter brings energy, creativity, and a unique attention to detail to the Ironwood & Ash team. Always curious and eager to be involved, Carter enjoys helping with the hands-on side of the business, from bottling products and applying labels to providing thoughtful input throughout the process.
Carter has a natural ability to see how things work and loves understanding the mechanics behind every project. Whether he is helping refine a product idea, working in the shop, or building his own creations from pieces of left over scrap, he approaches everything with patience, precision, and a problem-solving mindset.
Outside of the business, Carter is a dedicated hockey goalie who brings the same technical and methodical approach to the ice. He studies the details, understands the importance of preparation, and is always looking for ways to improve.
With his creative mind, attention to detail, and passion for building, Carter represents the next generation of Ironwood & Ash — where craftsmanship, curiosity, and family come together.
Davina Milton
Director of Everyday Magic, Chief Chaos Wrangler
Behind every great mission is a strong foundation, and for Ironwood & Ash, that foundation is Davina.
A devoted wife, mother, best friend, and the steady hand behind the scenes, Davina is the true backbone of our family and our business. Married to Brad for 12 years and raising Grayson and Carter, she brings the same dedication, discipline, and attention to detail to Ironwood & Ash that she carried throughout her military career.
Davina is an 11-year veteran of the Canadian Armed Forces, with operational deployments to Afghanistan and Iraq. Her years of service shaped the qualities that define her today — leadership, organization, resilience, and an unwavering commitment to those around her.
As a former Supply Technician, Davina brings invaluable experience to Ironwood & Ash. She is the driving force behind our inventory systems, product organization, stock management, and shipping processes. Her ability to create order, maintain standards, and ensure every detail is accounted for keeps our operation running smoothly.
While others may see the finished product, Davina ensures the work behind the scenes is done right. She is the person who keeps the vision moving forward, supports every idea, and challenges us to be better.
Ironwood & Ash is built on craftsmanship, family, and service — and Davina represents all three. She is the glue that holds our family, our mission, and our brand together.
Spartan Milton
Chief Morale Officer of Ironwood & AshEvery great team needs a loyal companion, and at Ironwood & Ash, that role belongs to Spartan.
Spartan is our four-legged Chief Morale Officer, professional shop supervisor, and expert at making sure nobody works too long without a little break. With a wagging tail, a curious nose, and an endless supply of enthusiasm, he is always close by to inspect the latest projects, supervise production, and remind us that every day is better with a good friend beside you.
Whether he’s keeping an eye on the workshop, joining us during family time, or simply making sure everyone gets a little extra motivation, Spartan brings the same values we build Ironwood & Ash on — loyalty, dedication, and being part of something bigger.
He may not know the difference between beard balm and beard oil, but he knows one thing for sure: family comes first.
